Out-of-State Recovery Housing for Women

Fly to Florida for more than just a place to live. Build a foundation for lasting recovery.

Feeling stuck in your environment and ready for something different?

If you’re in early recovery, you already know how difficult it is to rebuild your life in the same environment that hurt you. The triggers. The pressure. The people who don’t understand what you’re fighting for.

You may be:

  • Leaving an inpatient treatment center but not ready to return home

  • Desperate for structure and accountability after detox

  • Tired of being surrounded by people, places, or routines that threaten your sobriety

  • Rebuilding from the ground up—mentally, emotionally, financially

  • Looking for a fresh start in a community that sees you, supports you, and holds you accountable

You’re not alone. Many women know they need change but don’t know where to turn. They’re not looking for a "halfway house." They're not interested in a cold, clinical facility. They want real support in real life with compassion and genuine support. That’s exactly what The Glass House Recovery offers.

A new beginning, rooted in structure and support

At Glass House Recovery, we provide out-of-state recovery housing for women in early sobriety, not just a safe environment, but a purpose-driven one. Located in beautiful Florida, our homes are spaces where healing meets accountability.

Many of our residents come from out-of-state to:

  • Put distance between themselves and unhealthy relationships

  • Escape environments that no longer support their recovery

  • Access supportive outpatient care while building life skills

  • Reinvent their daily routines in a warm, welcoming climate

Our home is more than four walls, it’s a structured, woman-centered program designed to help you step into a life of clarity, confidence, and connection.

Common Reasons Women Relocate to The Glass House

We welcome women from all walks of life, from nearby Florida towns to states across the Southeast and beyond, all who share one thing: a commitment to staying sober and rebuilding a meaningful life.

You may be a great fit if:

  • You’ve completed inpatient treatment and need the next step

  • You’re stable in your sobriety but need routine, structure, and peer accountability

  • You want to connect with other women who get it

  • You're willing to follow a phased program, attend recovery meetings, and work with a sponsor

You’re ready to commit to goals, show up for house responsibilities, and lean into community

What Recovery Looks Like at The Glass House

We’re not a treatment center or detox facility. We’re something different: a certified recovery residence that offers women a safe, structured, and encouraging home as they work toward independence.

Our approach includes:

  • Phase-Based Recovery: A three-phase structure designed to help you gradually rebuild independence with clear expectations and goals.

  • Peer Accountability: You’ll share space with women who are also working hard on their recovery, and you'll support each other every step of the way.

  • Curfews & House Structure: Consistency helps create safety. You'll have a regular schedule, community chores, and expectations designed to support your recovery.

  • Weekly Goal Check-Ins: Meet with your house manager to review your progress and get support.

  • Recovery Commitments: Attend five or more 12-step meetings weekly and actively work your program with a sponsor.

  • Drug-Free Guarantee: We enforce a zero-tolerance policy with random drug screenings to protect every resident’s recovery.

Comfortable, Connected Living

Our Florida home is thoughtfully designed for community and comfort. You’ll enjoy:

  • Fully furnished bedrooms with clean linens and space to personalize

  • A shared kitchen for cooking your own meals

  • Common living areas with a recovery library, TV, and house computer

  • WiFi access throughout the home

  • House bicycles for beach rides or job searching

  • Designated outdoor spaces for quiet reflection or conversation

We’re located just minutes from Melbourne Orlando International Airport, making it easy to transition from out of state and stay connected with loved ones.

We’re More Than Just a Place to Stay. We’re a Launchpad for the Life You Deserve.

We know that recovery is about more than not using. It’s about learning how to live again.

That’s why our founders, Rick and Christi Adams, created The Glass House Recovery: to give women a structured, safe, and empowering space to grow. With decades of combined experience in education, counseling, and community-based recovery, they’ve created a model that’s both compassionate and accountable.

As one former resident put it:

“I lived at the Glass House five years ago… Now I have a job, a car, and my children back. This house gave me a strong foundation for recovery.” — P.Q.

Relocating to Florida for recovery can be a powerful, life-changing decision. If you're tired of trying to do this alone, or trying to do this where it’s never worked before, we’re ready for you.

Our doors are open to women across Florida and surrounding states who are ready for more than just a place to live.

Take the first step toward a structured, empowering, and supported recovery journey at The Glass House Recovery.

Out-of-State but Always at Home
